Welcome to the new 1001SMS
A temporary number for one code, a virtual number you keep for months, and travel eSIM data, now in one account on one balance. What changed in the rebuild, and where to find each part.
We have rebuilt 1001SMS. The job is the same one it has always been — get you a phone number when a service demands one, without you handing over your own — but the site around it is new, and there are three products in it now instead of one.
Here is what changed, and where to find each part.
Three products, one balance
A temporary number receives a single verification code and then goes back to the pool. It costs cents and takes about a minute.
A virtual number is yours for a term you pick, from 12 hours to 12 months, and keeps receiving for as long as you hold it.
A travel eSIM is mobile data abroad, on a local network, without touching the SIM already in your phone.
One balance pays for all three. Top up once and spend it on whatever the week needs: a code today, a rented number next month, data for a trip after that.
Temporary numbers: pick two things, read the code
Choose the country and the service you are verifying, and you get a live number. Enter it in the app, and the SMS shows up on the page.

If no code arrives, cancel and the money goes back to your balance. You are paying for a delivered message, never for the attempt. The pricing page shows what any country and service pair costs right now.
Virtual numbers: yours from 12 hours to 12 months
Pick a service for a number dedicated to it, or pick a country for an unlimited number that takes SMS from every app. Either way the messages land in your account and stay there, so the history does not vanish when a window closes.

Near the end of the term we remind you, in the site and by email, and extending keeps the same digits. On an unlimited number you can switch auto-renew on and let it extend itself from your balance. If a number turns out to be no use, cancel it for a full refund while no message has arrived, within two hours of buying it.
See what a term costs where you need one on the virtual numbers page.
eSIM: data abroad, with your own number still in the phone
This one is new. Buy a plan for a country, a region or the whole world, and the QR code and the manual activation code appear as soon as the payment clears. They stay in your account, so you can install the profile again on another phone.
It is a data line, not a number. Your usual SIM stays in and keeps handling calls, SMS and messengers; the eSIM carries the internet at local prices. Install it at home on wi-fi before you fly, because the thing that installs the internet needs the internet.
The plans are on the eSIM page.
The site itself
- Built for the phone first. The purchase flow was rebuilt for small screens. Picking a country and a service is a couple of taps rather than a pinch and a scroll.
- Search everywhere. Countries, services, destinations and plans all have a search box, because scrolling a list of two hundred countries was never the right answer.
- Every number has its own page. A number or an eSIM is no longer a row inside a window. It has an address you can bookmark, showing the live messages, the term, and the buttons to extend or cancel.
- Notifications that matter. A top-up credited, a number live, a term about to end, an eSIM delivered, a referral reward: each one now reaches you in the site and by email, in your language.
- Three languages. English, Russian and Chinese, across the whole site.
Paying, and getting paid
Top up with crypto, either a personal deposit address that stays yours or a one-off invoice, or with a card, SBP or MIR where they are supported.
The referral program pays 10% of every deposit made by someone you invited. Not the first deposit — every deposit, for as long as they keep using the site, withdrawn in USDT.
If you build things
There is an API, and an MCP server alongside it, so an assistant like Claude or Cursor can order a number, read the code and check your balance from a conversation. Create a key under Account → API and point your client at it.
Start with a free code
A new account comes with $0.25 in credit, enough for a first activation in most countries. Pick a country, pick a service, and watch the code arrive.
If something misbehaves, tell us: [email protected], or our Telegram, around the clock. This is a new site, and the quickest way it gets better is you saying where it got in your way.
