When to use
When a virtual number helps
Signing up for apps and websites
Messengers, social networks, marketplaces and other apps all ask for a phone number before they send an OTP. Give them a virtual mobile number and keep your own number out of it.
Protecting your personal data
Post an ad, sell something online or try a new service without showing your real number. When you are done, simply let the number expire.
Staying reachable while abroad
Keep a number from home while you travel, or get a local number in the country you moved to. The SMS reach your dashboard wherever you are.
A separate number for work
Keep a shop account, a support line or a business profile apart from your personal number. One balance pays for every number you hold.
